Today I was out cycling on the road ( unusual for me on a Saturday morning) and I also ended up late for the bunch depart, so I decided to ride the bunch route nevertheless. I also decided to extend and modify the route a little, decided to have coffee and changed my mind, decided to view the beach and try to spy this shark off Newcastle, when I found a mobile phone on the road. 2 cars almost cleaned it up but I managed to rescue it. I rode home and texted the mum in the contacts and said Id found a phone. The mum phoned the phone and confirmed it was her sons. The mum has just dropped in and picked up the phone, many thank yous were offered and then she presents me with a nice bottle of Cab Sav to say thanks. She says her son and daughter in law are expecting twins any day now and he is a little pre occupied with that and has evidently left the phone on the roof and driven off. What a strange, random coincidental turn of events for me to find the phone. All together now......awwwwwww
