Today I was pretty nervous to go in and see my dad...After his 10 hour surgery the doctor called me to tell me about the procedure and how much work that had been put in. He told me that his jaw might look somewhat like the terminator and head was gonna swell up really bad from the surgery and to prepare myself. I went and had lunch with my mom and just kinda told her I really hope that his jaw doesnt change the way he looks that much, but I guess he can always grow a beard like me. She said she doesnt remember my dad ever growing a beard so here you go Colleen Castillo I think he can still pull it off. Back in 89 Anyways I think they really did a good job and although he is very swollen so it is hard to tell now...I dont think his jaw shape changed as much as the doctor said and even if it did I just want him to be better, that is all that matters right now. I am not sure when the next surgery is going to be scheduled it looks like for the weekend at least and maybe longer they are gonna let him rest. He has be so strong to be able to withstand so many hours of surgery while his body is still so weak from the accident. I still have to talk to the doctors but I think the rest of broken bones he has they are gonna hope to see if they heal on their own. My grandpa was able to come by and see him today and said that he actually was expecting him to look worse and like I told him it really is amazing the amount of healing and turn around he has accomplished since I walked in last friday morning. Continue to pray and keep him in your thoughts he still has a long way to go and so far it has been working. Have a good weekend everyone and if I fail to post anything this weekend just means he is resting and nothing new has came up I will try to keep up with updating as much as I can.
