Today I was wishing Lauren Paces swollen 9 month pregnant belly was see-through so I could at least catch a glimpse of this kid who doesnt seem to want to come out, prior to my scheduled departure on the 15th. The more I thought about it, the cooler I thought it would be if God had made pregnant, swollen bellies see-through. Imagine seeing all the growth and cool positions they get into??? It would put an end to the mystery of what limb is crushing your parts where. I may have never gotten anything done staring at my growing belly. Deeper thought made me realize that if they WERE see-through, we may reject more babies prior to birth. We could see defects, imperfections and gender. Some people are selective. On the flip side, some moms might have kept their babies if they actually saw the little person in there and the mystery element was gone. Crazy thought, I know. Just wish this kid would get on the OTHER side of the skin!
