Today, I watched a grackel bird, with an injured foot, hop around on one leg, eating crackers I had thrown out. As he hopped around, my heart broke for him, for I knew there was nothing I could do. I also became inspired by his willingness to overcome and move forward despite his injury. So many of us give up, over trivial things, objects, people, cars, houses, etc... And here is a bird, fighting the good fight, and not a moan from his beak. We can learn a lot from nature.
