Today I watched a women who was probably around 80 plus make a left hand turn across two lanes of traffic into an oncoming car right in front of us. I see this stuff happen often. Thankfully there was no one behind us, because we had to slam on our brakes to avoid joining the accident. The other car swerved to avoid her thinking she would see them and stop, but she just kept plowing into them. The older woman was obviously out of it. Then she got out of her car and insisted it was the young womans fault. We really need to consider making changes to the driving laws to require people to be re-tested behind the wheel every so many years. Maybe every five? Maybe they can create simulators to test vision and reflex time. I understand that it is hard to give up driving, but it is not fair to put others lives at risk. #madgerant #drivecarefully
