Today I went to Lowes to update my child safety locks. I didnt know where anything was and a sales associate walked up to me and said, You look familiar. When people say this, which they often do, I know that they either know me from church or my former job. I told him this. He said, Oh! Youre that woman that helps people! and I almost burst in tears. My eyes glazed over instead. I AM THAT WOMAN! And because Im so helpful, I know people take me for granted or just assume I have an excess of money or time. I dont at all.
