Today I went to Pusa Institute of Agriculture. Very confusing but still got success in finding valuable information. I entered Pusa Institute Of Agricultre from Pusa Road or Rajender Nagar. There is one more opening from Todapur. There is no one shop where we can get entire gardening material unde one roof. Deifferent department are selling different materials. Seeds are being sold at number of departments, Maushrrom are sold at plant pathology, Compost is sold at Biomass unit etc. Once you enter the Pusa Institute then you can ask the gaurd he will guide you. Drive straight from T point turn right through a small white gate drive continue driving, you will reach a small round about on left hand side there are two left turns so take second left turn. First on the left hand side will come floriculture department from where we get many seeds such as vegetables and fruits and flowers and bulbs also. The time from 2 to 4 30 PM Mr Mahesh Kumar is the concerned person. But Mr A K Singh is also selling the seeds and you can ask anything he will guide you how to go about it. His phone number is 9968535990. Once you have bought the seeds yopu can drive straight on the same road will pass a gate. On the right hand is Tihaar Haat from you can buy vegetables grown by prisoners of Tihar there also some seeds are sold. You can check with the concerned persons there. Now drive Straight and on the left hand side is Agronomy where I met Mr Shiva Dhar, he is in charge of Composting. He is very informative about soil constitution, compost, nutritions for plants, He also arranges training about composting and is training many people who are from either big business houses or social workers or Indian Air Force wives etc. he trains a lot of people. He has auured me that if we are interested in getting training on how to do composting which is through several methods he can train us. So if one is interested then form a group and you can contact him at this no 9868354933. Afterwords, I got out and as directed by him went to Biomass unit where I bought Vermi Compost. The timings are from 10.00 AM - 12:30 PM and 02.30 - 4.00 PM. Concerned person is Dr R K Patta phone number is 25841866 (Prefix Code number of Delhi. Rate of Vermi Compost is Rs 120 per 10 Kg, Leaf manure is Rs 70 per Kg FYM which is Yard Farm Manure is Rs 3 per Kg. Bag cost etc depending upon the size such as 10 kg bag or 50 kg bag etc. FYM consists of plant crops, rice crops, cow manure, glass etc and is not sieved therefore, if you buy this you will have to do the sieving yourself. I saw the pot mix and it looked quite nice and very fertile. I have not clicked the picture of VC will show it later. I also went to Atic from where seeds are sold. I bought a kit containing seeds of vegetables. The concerned person is Mr Ram Taul S P Singh 9873234005. I also bought one year membership in Rs 90 where I will get 6 books containing information about gardeing and plants etc. They also gave me 3 books with membership. The ATIC is the last point from there you can drive straight and can get out towards Todapur. So either you can enter from Pusa Road Loha Mandi or from Todapur. Now you all of can go and find seeds easily in Pusa Institute no need to roam here and there. I did that for three hours :D LOLOLOL
