Today I went to Valparaiso, Indian to the Chicago Street Theater to see their interpretation of The Scary Godmother play...All of the kids acted their hearts out! I was proud to sit in the audience and see how their version differed from our 2001 play performances by Runamuck Productions...as well as the Cartoon Network Specials. Alsways interested in seeing the different costumes created! And we had gender swap Skully Pettibone and Bug-A-Boo! Here are a few photos I took during the performance and afterwards with the cast! I cant tell you how amazing it feels to see something you created interpreted and loved by people you never met before! Hugs to everyone involved! I think my co conspirator in play adaptaion, Heath Corson would be proud of their efforts! I kind of want a bunch of small town theaters all across the country to put up their versions of Scary Godmother so I can drive across country and see all of them! And apperently this Facebook app thinks that the girl who played Scary Godmother is Christine Zadnik Mehling! Because I was not with Christine today, but that bit over there to the right just popped up when I posted these pix...and I cant make it go away! Just another Facebookimprovement that is horribly annoying...like Messenger (which I am not using)!
