Today, I went to cast my Advanced ballot for the upcoming Election . Was quite surprised and shocked to learn that we dont get to vote for School Trustees this go round as the 2 incumbents were the only ones on the agenda.....therefore, they win by default....thats disgraceful!! WHY should we be stuck with the same old, time & time again. Just because they have the position does NOT mean that theyre the best candidates for that job! I truly hope that voters will start taking a more in-depth look at school trustees...they are the ones who control what happens in our school system. As a concerned taxpayer, I feel its time for change. I hope someone else steps up for the next election. We desperately need change.
