Today I went to my dying grandfather, the man that was the staple of my childhood. Someone that I always saw as a pillar, a column of marble; strong wise, and indestructible. Now I see him laying there broken and frail and I am in disbelief. You would think after 15 years of dealing with death, dying, and destruction, that I would have a better understanding of needless suffering, but I guess I never will. I pray that will soon be over for Bill Taylor and the man I love so much will no longer suffer.
