Today I went to my high school. I went to the library and listened to the Franklin County Board Meeting. Pretty cool. I then went to the Flyer Band Room??? WHAAAAA!!!! I was like this doesnt look like the band room. There was a majorette coach teaching students. Then in random conversation I saw my classmate Bill Bright who is a band parent!!! I was sooooo excited. I havent been in my old high school in 21 years. Wow. My debate and English teacher Sherri Long Smith is still a teacher at my high school. AWESOME. I felt weird and overwhelmed and thought about Mr Weiler and Mr Wallace and Mr Greenwood my middle and high school band teachers. It was pretty awesome. Then I went to WALMART, or the Mall in my home town, and bought a Franklin County Flyers and Kentucky State University T-shirt! I was overwhelmed. I have to say my heart is jumping up and down... Lastly, I spent quality time with my teachers Robert Griffin and Patricia Griffith. Both who helped me to be the me I am. I am teary eyed right now because, if it hadnt been for my teachers and KSU family I dont know how I would be who I am today. I am very rich. My riches arent in monetary wealth, but in love and respect for those who loved me through my goofy stages... Thank you very much.
