Today I went to the doctor. I was first seen by a PA student. Common practice at my doctors office. She asked me what I did, and explained I was a student pharmacist. She paused and then said how important my career is. She didnt know what she would do without the knowledge and expertise of a pharmacist. She continued by saying what a great resource pharmacists have been for her. This one person made my day. She made me realize that I am in a profession that is making a difference for the patients we serve and the professionals we work along side.
