Today, I will address the Khayelitsha Skills Development Summit on the importance of increasing the production of artisans in order to stimulate the economic growth of the country and create employment for the youth of South Africa. This is part of the Decade of the Artisan programme under the theme ITS COOL TO BE A 21st CENTURY ARTISAN. The two day summit will be held at the False Bay TVET College (Khayelitsha Campus), Western Cape at 11am.
