Today I will be cleaning out my friends list. I spent most of my day yesterday being bullied by an individual over my decision to send Hope to this trainer. Why shes so hell bent on this idk but it was interesting that before I blocked her ass that she showed me some of my so called friends screenshots. All I can say is its a sad day that some of these ppl call themselves rescuers and animal lovers. For the record I thoroughly checked this trainer out, spoke to numerous references and he is well known for his work in his community, I also had a home check (yes....a home check for a trainer) and it cld not have turned out better. I spent countless hours talking with him about our plan to help Hope with her issues. He also spent the whole day at my home getting to know Hope and the rest of my pack and Im in constant contact with him 24/7. I would NEVER send Hope somewhere that I thought would brake her spirit or cause her more trauma. Yes I had the option to send Hope to a cple of trainers for boarding and training but I know Hope more than anyone and boarding was not an option. My thought was boarding her and getting a cple hrs of training a day was not what she needs. With the trainer I chose Hope is living with him learning how to coexist in a home as well as many other things so please if youve been contacted by this woman and I know a cple of my so called friends had lots to say and she was happy to throw you under the bus so you may want to reexamine your current friends as well. I love what I do and with every rescue I do follow through and give them what they need before they go to there forever home, be it medical or like Hope, extensive rehab. I am not washing my hands of Hope nor did I fail her so this person can go to hell with that. This has been another example of egos in rescue. Its not about you, its about these animals we are busting our ass every day to save. So if you find youve been deleted and blocked all I can say is you need to reevaluate your current friends! This is about Hope and doing whats best for her to give her the chance to live stress free in a home where she can continue to grow and become another positive example for this breed. For anyone that would like to follow Hopes progress her trainer will be adding her to his page so all her supporters and followers can watch as Hope progresses.
