Today I witnessed an amazing display of Common Unity within our community. With every fold of the 15,000 pieces of paper and collation of the 4000 DVDs we connected with each other. Every fold allowed us to place our individual mark on what we stand for as a united group. Today was a Folding Day, but it became more than that. 63 people stepping up in the first phase to protect our region, change legislation, shape our future, protect our environment, educate others, unite with one another, connect and include others, to say NO to the Unconventional Gas Mining Companies. To say I was proud of our effort is an understatement. I was blown away. I dare any Unconventional Gas Mining Company to come our way! From what I witnessed today, they stand no chance and our politicians better listen. Thank you everyone who spared their time......when our government fails to take action, it is left to everyday people to become heroes. I witnessed a room full of heroes today - how blessed am I !
