Today, I woke up to a wam house, my husband at home, and my children safely cuddled in their beds. I know that my luxuries and comforts are not free...they come at the cost of the ultimate sacrifice of men and women who have served and are serving our country. I think of the men and women today who are in harms way and I pray for their safety. I also pray for their families who must go on with their lives, even in the midst of loss or absence. We should be more grateful everyday, but Veterans Day is a day to be especially mindful of the gift of service that these individuals make every day.
