Today I worked on the C70 for awhile, the plastic that covers the engines wires had degraded from the heat of the engine and was falling off so I replaced it. The two wires to they left I recovered in a woven type of wiring cover, the thicker group of wires in the lower area of the pic I recovered with some corrugated cover. The other two wires in the center of the first pic go to the knock sensors and I covered them with a wrap around type of cover. The knock sensors are pretty important sensors and one of them was lose so I tightened it up so that it can read properly. I also replaced some aging parts on the engine and installed some of the parts I took of the other day, tomorrow I can finish putting the engine back tougher. After I am done with the engine I am going to polish my front wheel, replace my tie-rod ends, I buff and wax the C70, apply some touch up paint to any chips and condition the leather seats. I am thinking the C70 will be back on the road by Monday
