Today I worked on the Family Tree that I put up in the kitchen. - TopicsExpress

Today I worked on the Family Tree that I put up in the kitchen. Still probably have another eight hours of work on it, but every time I put an ornament on it, Id get all nostalgic, or weepy, or giggly remembering who gave me that ornament. From Roger s Christmas Bagels, to Peta Roses beautifully handpainted gingerbread house, to the awesome wreath Cousin Clara and her huband, Gaylord, made for me last year with the small miners lunch bucket carved from coal at its center, it was a wonderful journey through the heart. This tree has a little of everything on it: handmade ornaments representing different countries that we used to make at the Christmas Party Sally and Butch would host; vintage glass ornament that Scott and Bobby like to give; handmade ornaments given out on Christmas Eve; the first official ornament of each Holiday Season that is given up in the mountains during Oktoberfest; the ornaments made for the FB Ornament Exchange. And so, before things get a little too rushed, I want to say Thank You to everyone who has contributed to this most-special of trees: Thanks, Scott Rhinehart, Bobby Puleo, Jeanette Rhinehart, LC Rhinehart, Butch and Sally Rhinehart, Laura D Powers-Ahrens, Chris and Nikki Moldovan, Chanda Haskins, Wade Rhinehart, Denise Carlson, Karri Rhinehart Payne, Terrol Payne, Theresa Ingrassi Rhinehart, Jason Rhinehart, Lynsey Rhinehart Reed, Dawnii Tan, Jessie Moldovan, Kelton Sawyer, Susan Ashley Sawyer, Cousin Sherry Newsom, Cousin Jeannie Newsom McMillan, Cousins Clara and Gaylord Friend and their daughter-in-law (whose name I do not know), Jeanne Love Perafan, Madalynne Panter Brunet, Lizette Ashcraft and Dax, Kaite Hillenbrand, Patricia Thomas OGara, Peta Rose Murphy, Sharon Koffel-Weinstein, Roger Ayers, Bill Rogers, Sharyn Bruno, Barbra Leaming Archibeque and Anita Gerbecks. The only problem with having so many awesome people provide me with Christmas ornaments is I have a Roy Scheider-esque problem: Im gonna need a bigger boat, er, tree!
