Today I would like to announce my candidacy for Ward Seven Constable to all of my family, friends and community. I have lived in Ward Seven my entire life; I know most of the people of Ward Seven and believe I have the knowledge and experience to lead the Constable post to its highest accountability for all of Ward Seven and the state of Louisiana. I am presently a School teacher at West Orange Stark Elementary School and I have been there for the last 16 years. I also ran my own home business of Jowers Guns for the last 25 years. I have been a Ward Seven Recreation coach on and off for over 35 Years. I have been the President of the Vinton High School Athletic Boosters on and off for the last 20 years. I am a member of the Ward Seven Volunteer Fire Department, and I am a State of Louisiana certified firefighter. I am a Nibletts Bluff Park Commissioner for the last 4 years. I have been married for 25 years to Vicki Reina Jowers and have one son and several family members which make it even a higher goal to strive for to make our community and county safe. I strongly believe the position of constable should be held by someone who will be committed to serving the public while upholding all local and state laws. I believe the constable post plays a vital role in our community and should work hand in hand with all local, state and federal law enforcement agencies to better serve you, the resident.
