Today Im pleased to announce the 2015 National Foundation for Gun Rights (NFGR) Scholarship Program! The program is designed to award three pro-Second Amendment students -- two undergraduates ($1,000 each) and one graduate ($2,000) -- from across the nation with $4,000 worth of academic scholarships for 2015. All students attending a public or private college or university here in the United States are eligible. If you think a family member, friend, or even yourself, would be interested in applying for the program, please be sure to forward this email on to them. However, because we will receive scores of applications for the 2015 Scholarship Program, there are two important steps each applicant must complete in order to be considered for one of the scholarships: 1.) Submit a YouTube video no longer than THREE minutes answering this question: Why must we preserve the Second Amendment? 2.) Click here or on the image below and fill out the 2015 NFGR Scholarship application in its entirety. Potential applicants who do not complete the steps above by the November 14, 2014 deadline will not be considered for the 2015 Scholarship Program. Apply for NFGR Scholarship! Once the deadline has passed, all applications will be reviewed by our 2015 NFGR Scholarship Board. The Scholarship Board includes five individuals whom I trust implicitly to find the applicants who best understand the fight to protect our gun rights. The people Ive chosen for the Board include an NAGR Policy Analyst, an NAGR Executive Board member, and elected officials who have proven themselves to be pro-gun champions.
