Today, Im switching gears to work on my NA and completely focusing on that so I can be on track to finish it by the end of the month. But its weird. Im a music person. Music has always been able to get that ever elusive muse to whisper in my ear. The entire mood of a scene or, a full story for that matter, can change depending on the song or songs Im listening to. For the last 2 weeks, as I edited and rewrote sections of the EC short story, Ive been listening to classical music. Any other kind of music just didnt work, but the classical did. It helped me zone out and zoom in on my characters and story. Today, working on the NA, I turned on my music and started to write, only to click off the playlist Ive been using for weeks within 30 seconds. Apparently my new MC is so over classical. LOL.
