Today Im thankful for sick people! You see, I have noticed that sick people dont complain - they fight with everything in them for one more day of life! I have seen sickness first hand - for ten years my husband endured a liver transplant and two bouts of pancreatic cancer! I know what sitting in a dark room at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL feels like and wondering how to soothe the pain, but then to hear the sweet humming of Amazing Grace through the air vent from the next room by an eldering woman sitting with her dying husband! Talk about soothing the pain - His Amazing Grace - is simply amazing! So thank you Mandy Carroll, Gwinna Bevans Boyd, Tracy Stuffle, Kristen Rice, Kelsi Honeycutt and any others that are truly sick or have been sick - for your courage, your faith, and your fight for life! You all inspire me - and when nothing else works - try humming Amazing Grace!
