Today I’d like to educate you on one of mankind’s oldest symbols, the Pentacle or pentagram, the five pointed star. As in Di Vinci’s drawing of the Vitruvian Man, the five points of the star are representative of the human form with arms and legs spread, the head being the fifth point where the spirit dwells. This is who we are, the Star that radiates in 5 directions! If you read the history of the Pentacle/Star, you will find that it was never an instrument of execution or murder. It represents common decency; the sacred within you dwelling within the soul forever. Due to ignorance and religious persecution, historically those of the Craft were in danger if they openly wore the Pentacle; but today we have won back our right to a religious symbol that is finally allowed on the tombstones of fallen heroes in Arlington National Cemetery thanks to Selena Fox and many of us who sought to honor our fallen members of the craft. These men and women have shed their blood for the rights of every citizen of this country, exemplifying the nature of a nation that is tolerant and respectful of all. America the beautiful stand tall, as we stand tall with the Star above our heads we are blessed by our Ancestors that will never be dead. If you start at the top with the letter “H” and moving in a clockwise fashion assign the “E”, “A”, “R” and “T” to each successive point of the Star, you will create the word “HEART”. In Italian, as the Strega say, “Magica il Cuore”; Magic is of the Heart. The word “cuore” means heart and also has five letters! The family of Lori Bruno will never be ashamed to wear this symbol of the mind, the body and the soul spirit; a Holy Symbol long before many others. I am a proud practitioner of the Light, and the Star is the symbol of Might! Blessed be between thee and me for now and all eternity!
