Today Jakes attending Dr , Behavioral specialist, Case worker, Nurse practitioner & I had a progress meeting about Jake. 5 months 7 days today. 160 days since admission. Jakes numbers are great! Bk is gone! Hes starting to build a small immune system and is doing very well medically speaking! Psychologically not so well. Hes not eating anything...Jake is crying a lot about stomach pain and is throwing up quite a bit. It seems this pain comes and goes with activities Jake doesnt enjoy. Ie therapy, taking meds.... Hes also in diapers mind you he has a bedside commode 12 inches away from his bed and is fully able to use it. :( The team and I agreed that Jake needs some passes to leave the hospital for 4 hours at a time. I am planning to bring Dobbie on Monday and were going to a park :) Were going to find some activities we can do with Reagan also! The Dr said Jake could have a few hours at home also! :) Unfortunately this means that I will be telling him about his Mama. Its going to be harder than me hearing it for myself but he deserves to know. And with her bed now being his hes going to know any way. So ready to take some steps forward! Please keep us in your ♡s!
