Today Joe Sparks entered a plea of Not Guilty for locking on at Marengo Forest in May 2013 to highlight the trashing yet again of Federally protected Hastings Mouse Habitat (almost extinct) and the Black Striped Wallaby also Federally Protected. I was surprised to see Carlo the lawyer who so generously gave us a consultation yesterday walking across the road. He clarified some troubling questions and offered to act as a "Friend of the court" and did the mention for us, again pro bono. The courtcase is now set for the 10th October and I will be fundraising for any fines and legal representation. Cannot thank Joe and Carlo enough and for the support, knowledge and advice of Greens Councillor Dr Sally Townley. I am not religious but I do believe in angels who seem to turn up when we take on seemingly impossible challenges.
