Today, June 28, 2014, Michael Smith was a little more coherent. At first he was a little confused and angry as he has lost 12 days and probably forgot where he was, And when they started his sedation, he didnt have near the tubes and IVs that he has now. I count 11 different bags right now, He had a blood transfusion on Tuesday and another one today, The nurses have been fantastic with him and I couldnt be any happier, He has a team of doctors, I think the only area not on his team right now it the GI doctor, It was wonderful to see those beautiful eyes today, He cannot talk to us verbally. We are working on reading lips right now, He did tell Samantha Smith that he loved her! We are so happy to have him somewhat awake,
