Today Katie and I said good bye to a great man, her dad, my father in law. As the days go by we will reflect often on how much he meant to each of us. I would like to share a poem with you that was in the memorial book that was given to me a few hours after he passed away. Would you love me? Would you hold me? As I carry your casket to the grave. Would you whisper that I love you as I hear the Pastor pray, Would you tell me one more story? Laugh at all the things I do? As I kneel to shed a tear and sit awhile here with you. There is one thing Id like to say, One more thing Id like to do. Throw a kiss to you in heaven, and whisper softly I love you.
