Today, Kim and Nigel have been very busy. We have cleared out the garage (see Sunday pics), Created yet another compost bin, and cleared a drainage to the rear of the garages as inside was a little damp on on side. those of you who know Portugal, once you go more than 4 inches below soil level, yep you hit solid rock. We have cleared to 8 inches below the level of the foundations at the rear of the garages. We will fill this with limecrete (better for environment than cement) later once it has dried out. We have decided on a new roof. This will be better than trying to place another on top of the metal one we already have. More materials but less work and fear of falling through the existing one. Not getting any younger too. Will put some picture up as we progress. thanks for following.
