Today Lancaster County, Pa Fire Companies helped Make-A-Wish grant a special wish. Around 14:00hours, Companies 3(Martindale), 15(Ephrata Pioneer) & 17-1(East Cocalico Twp. Fire - Reamstown) met up at a local church to all convoy in with each other in a small parade to help grant the childs wish. Crews drove the short distance with lights and sirens blaring to Harrison Reiffs home a short distance away. Harrisons quick reaction to all the apparatus showing up was what the world as he looked on with a huge smile on his face. Make-a-wish granted Harrison and his family with a trip to Walt Disney world. After the surprise, Harrison took a ride in both Engine 3 & Tower Ladder 17. After driving around, Tower Ladder 17 met up with Tower 15 as it was set-up and took him high into the sky. Engine 15-2 brought Harrison back to his home as the community and fireman greeted him back. Refreshments were given to all. Harrison also greeted all the fireman that helped make his wish come true and give them a small gift as a thanks.
