Today Mocha and I went with a couple other women and horses to the Shorthills. We took a huge step outside of our comfort zone and walked through mud puddles, stepped over enormous logs, climbed big hills (and then down big hills), crossed a stream several times and crossed wooden bridges. It took some encouragement but she was a brave girl and tried everything. At the entrance to the trail was a giant mud puddle and log and as Mocha reversed at warp speed, I thought we were either going home or I would join Tammy in the emergency room but we made it over! I could feel her tremble from head to toe, but I am so thrilled that she trusted me enough to keep going.
