Today My car was acting up so I took it to my mechanic...As Im returning home walking up W.3rd St...On the corner of Manson and Third theres reporters from WNBC....So theyre interviewing this young lady regarding this weekends shootings....So afterwards I abruptly asked can I give my input...They obliged me..lol..So the reporter asked if I was from Plainfield...Heres my report..I told the lady I grew up on West Third....And back in the day we had options..Comm Ctrs.Movies,Skating rinks..etc etc...Todays youths doesnt have much of a choice...Theres nothing constructive here in Plfd other then the youths reverting to the streets..Now dont get me wrong they have choices yet they seem to get involved in the wrong things...As a parent we want whats best for our kids,and we can instill in them everything thats good..But for whatever reason they go another way...Now If they had something or some place to go,just maybe we can save one life...Now Im quite sure the news ppl arent going to televise everything I said..lol..But at least I got a chance to voice how I felt...We all have choices,and theres consequences to our choices,yet the youths today dont have much to work with..And if we can come together as ppl,and talk to these youths just maybe we can help...ijs
