Today, Nancy Pelosi, D-CA, appointed 5 Democrats to the House Select Today, Nancy Pelosi, D-CA, appointed 5 Democrats to the House Select Committee on Bengahzi. Among the 5 is Elijah Cummings, D-MD, who recently said of the committee that its a witch hunt. Previously, he said we know all there is to know about Benghazi. With his appointment, he says his task is to protect the truth. If we know all there is to know, why fear another committee investigation? If what we know is the truth, why worry, period? Unfortunately, outside the mind of Cummings and most Democrats, we dont know the truth. We dont know who concocted a damnable lie about a video. Who gave a stand down order that kept US Military assets from any effort to assist our people? Why was there an inordinate number of CIA operatives at a US diplomatic mission (my hunch: Team Obama had launched a mission that would be embarrassing if known, one that might compromise other missions or assets or politically undo their narrative about al qaeda being on the run). If there is no there there, Democrats have nothing to fear. But given their caterwauling, one must suspect they have reasons to fear. Perhaps the fear of their leader being shown once again as a clueless, reckless, detached wannabe POTUS? Either way, for Democrats who love to cite public opinion polls, they seem to want to ignore polls showing over 60% want a further investigation of Benghazi.
