Today October 16, 2014 is very special to me I shall never forget the joy and gratefulness of October 16 in my life a blessing that happen 19 years ago today October 16, 1995 The Historic Million Man March a day I shall never, ever, ever forget I witness with my own eyes right in my home all my children who school age did not go to school Akeem was not quiet 1 yrs old yet but that day he had to sit his little self down and watch I understood that day, a lot of people didnt and still dont till this day . I just shared with a radio host who said that was a great day but everybody took the pledge and left and didnt do nothing . I told him hold up that is not true a whole lot of men came back and did something I shared the Maafa I just attend the Co-founder came back from The Million Man March and was, inspired to do Maffa and here we are 19 yrs later plus after the Million Man March the record adoption of Black children to Black families broke records along with so many other great happening that came out of The Million Man March then I said The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan did what Allah (God) put on his heart to do which was for Allah (God) Glory not The Minister Allah (God) just him which was to bring Black together he laid out what would happen if the men who were there did not go back and take responsibility for themself, family and community all them men took a pledge to go back and take responsibility for themselves , family and community a lot has kept their word for the last 19 years and a whole lot didnt and now we have what we have I wish the almost 2 million Black man would have kept their word to Allah (God) because they made that pledge to Allah (God) not The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan Allah (God) just choose him as the vessel O how much better off we would be right now if the almost 2 million had kept their word . Its not to late take the pledge today on the 19th Anniversary of Million Man March start today.
