Today Referendum on Crimea independence takes place and it is supposed to give an answer on questions; to join Russia or to stay in Ukraine as federal republic. The population’ verdict is final. WE know, how hard is struggle in mass media, spraying propaganda about violence from both sides: Western world blames Putin in pressure and planning aggression and the Russian side makes afraid the Russian with national turbulence in Ukraine and serious violence against the Russian speaking citizens. But we need to consider carefully both sides’ opininon. Every medal das got 2 sides and we cannot make up our mind taking into account only one side’ vision. Unfortunately, 80% of the Russian mass media is under Kremlin’ sensor but I guess, every figure out person shall find the truth in clear analysis of the medal’ both sides. Working closely with mass media inside, I can deliver the following conclusion: -Russian mass media informs 25-30% of truth only; -Ukrainian population in general : 45% support the western line, 25% -no opinion yet, 30% support Russia -discontent of the new Ukrainian government more that 60 - 65% ( including people, who are scared to criticize the new authorities); - more than 65% do not trust new authorities as they know about their high corruption ( from previous political activity) Re: Russian side. Russia doesn’t need Crimea to join the country and to donate its budget permanently. but needs the island for the Black sea navy base. Russia has 42 regions, which need their budget’ donations every year and to take one more is not exactly in the country’ strategic plan. However, since the end of 2013 Russia invested into Ukraine’ subsidizing more that $5 Billion and has to grant $ 10 billion more within neat 5 years, definitely, Russia is worry for reimbursement and some benefits as well. Any way, the problem is much deeper and complicated and we need to take into account 2 important points: propaganda’ influence from both sides and top corruption of Ukrainian government. Russian authorities are permanently criticized for corruption to but Ukrainian’ level did hit the world record. Summary: Ukrainian people shall find their own way for future development based on free, transparent elections and following only on the legal, constitutional procedures. No violence or war, no any pressure and lie any more.
