Today Russia shot down a passenger plane from Malaysia and it killed all 298 people on board. There were at least 28 Americans on board, but it could go up to 49. Under any other administration there would be a lot of activity going on to find out the facts, and trying to figure out what form of retribution they were going to have to pay. I am not sure what this administration is going to do, but I do know that President Obama is at his third fundraiser of the day right now. Of course this doesnt mean the administration Isnt doing anything, but it just looks bad when the President knowing full well what happened continues to just fundraise for his party. We need to look to the world as if we are strong, we need our leader to look like one. Russia has invaded the Ukraine, and annexed Crimea as a new part of Russia, and we did nothing. Now they have shot down a plane killing 298 people, so we have to stand up to this world bully. Even if we dont go to war, we must publicly condemn their actions and get the UN to impose sanctions on that country. We cant just continue to let all of these countries to walk all over our country as they are. Please Mr. President come back to your standing of five years ago, and be the inspiration that you were to the whole world. We need leadership, and you were hired to be that leader! On another note, several thousand missiles were stolen in Libya, and no one knows where they are. So if you have to travel, I suggest you take a boat or train, but leave the sky to the birds, for many more incidents like today is surely on the horizon. God bless all 298 souls lost today.
