Today, Shindog #2, Wendy Elizabeth Shin had to leave us. She came into our life almost 8 years ago, already a mature lady. She had been a breeder factory dog, and was discarded in complete state of malnutrition. The terrible state she was found in is what directly motivated Jin Young Shin to get involved in animal rights, thus Wendy is the reason BAPS exists. Her life has inspired us to give live to over 500 other dogs, including all the other Shindogs at home, all who came into our lives through our animal rights works. She lived the past 8 years in total love, spoiled, with her favorite foods always available, and her loving brother, Shindog #1, Philip Arthur Shin always watching over her. Wendys departure was quick and thanks to medicines, as painless as possible, for which we are grateful. Her old organs today reached the point where there were ready to give up, and she passed with both of us at her side, while she was in the ICU. Wendy lives forever in our hearts, and in the spirits of all the Shindogs that came after her, and are yet to come.
