We are looking for sponsors and participating businesses to help promote the Space Coast Music Festival in Cocoa Beach on September 18-21, 2014. I have included your venues in the press release to show all the great venues to hear live music on the evenings of September 19th and 20th. We would request your venue to sell the $5 SCMF wristbands which are good for entrance to the Kickoff Party and Family Fun Day and show Support to Save Music Programs in our Schools. All proceeds of these Wristbands help buy instruments for music programs. We are requesting $100 - $250 sponsorships to help us underwrite the expenses of this great event. Your assistance would include your logo in our ad in the Beachside Resident, Brevard Live, on the eARTh Awareness and Space Coast Music Festival facebook and website pages. It would also include mentions in our radio ads on WFIT radio. We are producing a program with map with Venue and Entertainment listings and are passing out cards to be stamped at each venue for a chance to win a weekend in Cocoa Beach to encourage visitors to check out all the wonderful music available that weekend. We are asking for your restaurant or bar to have live music for these 2 evenings and let us know who you have booked for that weekend. .We would like to see shops have music flowing from their shops, stereo’s, dj’s, doors open and welcoming. We would like to see all business’s, shops, restaurants, bars, smoke shops, etc. stay open till at least 10 PM and create a Duval St , Bourbon Street , Beale Street atmosphere. Music flowing into the streets, eating, drinking and shopping opportunities for all our festival visitors to enjoy. Cross Promotion of this event is critical to pack the streets of Cocoa Beach and fill our hotel rooms, mention the SCMF Music Festival in your September ADS, Promote the Music Stroll and who you have performing, together as a community we can make this a great Annual Promotion in Downtown Cocoa Beach. Awareness of Brevard, Jack Link & Associates and downtown Cocoa Beach are gearing up for THE 4th Annual SPACE COAST MUSIC FESTIVAL on September 18, 19, 20 and 21st when, Downtown Cocoa Beach businesses will be hosting the Space Coast Music Festival, a benefit for E.A.R.T.H. Awareness’s music in the schools program. Aside from the big stage talent and the beautiful waterfront setting, the event will feature a renowned and diverse array of multi genre bands, guitar auction, Friday Fest Street Party, family fun day, music stroll and all star jams. $5 buys a wristband to enjoy over 20 bands featuring top notch talent filling the weekend with unprecedented music and merriment. The Mila Elementary School music students will showcase their talents on the instruments they received in 2013. Wristbands may be purchased at Downtown Cocoa Beach Restaurants and Bars. Island Music, Florida Discount Music, EARTH Board members, Jack Link & Associates in Rockledge. A full weekend of festivities is planned. The music festival will be held on Thursday 7 PM to 10 PM, Friday 6 PM to 10 PM and Saturday from 11 AM to Midnight, Sunday from 2 PM to 6 PM. Non-Stop Music, all weekend long, is the goal of this years festivities. The festivities will kick off with a Kickoff Party, Thursday, September 18th from 7 PM to 10 PM at Slow and Low BBQ featuring a silent autographed guitar auction. Guitars auctioned are from some of the finest players in the music industry. The auction will also feature local art and gifts. After the party check out The Space Coast Playboys jam at the Beach Shack from 8 Pm to Midnite. Friday, September 19th we kick it off in the street and allow our guest to Experience The Best Live Music on the Space Coast . Cocoa Beach Friday Fest will be in full swing with an amazing street party benefiting the Music in the Schools Program, afterwards roam down Minuteman and enjoy a night on the town checking out all the great talent the Space Coast is famous for. Coconuts, the Beach Shack, Hunker Down Hideaway, Big Licks, Casablanca and others will all have music flowing into the streets well after the street party. THE Pro’s hit the stages Saturday with National and Regional Talent gracing the festival stage at the Pavilion on the river, downtown music venues and restaurants for the 4th Annual Space Coast Music Festival. The day begins at 11 AM to 7 PM on Saturday, September 20th at the Cocoa Beach Country Club Pavilion with 6 Bands, non profit awareness village exhibits, playground activities, make your own instruments arts and crafts area, other kids activities, BBQ, drinks and family fun. Cocoa Beach is famous for some of the Greatest Music Venues on the Beach. This event is to showcase the wonderful musicians we have in Florida and show our guests and locals our incredible music community. After family fun at the pavilion come downtown to enjoy THE EXPRESSION SESSION MUSIC STROLL from 7 PM to Midnight. This year, Rock will get your blood pumping at Coconuts on the Beach, Blues will excite you at The Beach Shack, Alternative Rock will get you dancing at HunkerDown, Acoustic singer songwriters and Great Cigars at Big Licks, THE VFW has a few surprises for us all, Rocking Buskers Style at Casablanca, Creative Original Music at Juice and Java, DJ’s and Surf Music at Surfinesta, Classic Rock at Pineapple Point, Solo Acts at The Beach Hole, Alternative at The Tiny Turtle and Eclectic tunes at the Cocoa Beach Brewing Company. Sunday, September 21st music will flow on the ocean decks of Coconuts and the Beach Shack with an Allstar Pro Jam from 2 PM to 6 PM. A group of entertainment industry professionals, dedicated to the preservation of creative outlets and natural experiences for the youth of the Space Coast of Florida. e.A.R.T.h. Awareness was created to promote quality family time in a natural setting, with programs in music, art, planet-protecting education, and fun . The organization raises funds to help with their The Music in the Schools Program, a direct-to-teacher classroom supply program for art, music, and drama, programs in Central Florida schools. We make lasting memories of fun educational experiences, and teach families and children how to make a creative difference for the future. The preservation of school music is a key component to e.A.R.T.h.S programs. eARTh has donated over $96,000 in musical instruments and equipment to Brevard county schools since 2005, this fundraiser is to assist EARTH in purchasing instruments for Mila Elementary School , in Merritt Island . We are also trying to purchase guitars for Mrs. Baldino for the new Guitar Class at Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr High. She is in need of 30+ guitars for her students to be able to learn guitar. Our goal is to purchase $10,000 in new instruments for each school, so the children can have hands on musical experiences in their classroom. Mila Elementary is a title 1 school and many of the children in this school are on subsidized lunch. Mila Elementary has minimal instruments in their music program. The music teacher receives a minimal budget of .50 cents per student per year for music instruments & supplies. Help us help these wonderful schools. eARTh Awareness loves kids and passing on the tradition of the wonderful music e.A.R.T.h. is completely supported by contributions from the community and all contributions are tax deductible. All proceeds donated to e.A.R.T.h. are used to produce the annual event and enhance the lives of creative young minds.
