Today Sunday 6/10 is 1st of Dhul Hijjah. So EID AL ADHA will be on Tuesday 15th in sha Allah. The next ten days are very BLESSED. Its MUSTAHAB & SUNNAH to FAST the next 9 days. Make sure u fast atleast the day of ARAFAH ie on MONDAY 14/10. The reward is that Allah WIPES AWAY SINS of past & coming years [Sahih Muslim: 1162] Do alot of GOOD DEEDS in these 9 days, recite alot of Dhikr, Astaghfar, Salawat, recite Quran read Quran translation, do Qiyyam ul layl (night worship), give charity even if $2 every day. Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) said: “There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allaah then these ten days.” They said: “O Messenger of Allaah, not even jihad for the sake of Allaah?” He said: “NOT EVEN JIHAD for the sake of Allaah, unless a man goes out himself with his wealth and does not come back with anything (i.e., he expends all his wealth & is martyred).” [Bukhaari, 969] PLS SHARE
