Today Sunlands completed our horses registrations and were pleasantly surprised at how easy and simple the new system is. The staff at SAEF sorted out any problems on profiles/from the old data base quickly and efficiently. If you know the procedure there are no problems in the registration. We are glad to see that SAEF has become so modern with the use of the payfast system. Here is a quick how to get registered to compete as a graded rider that we sent to our clients 1) Register with a Club SHEC- Free- sunhillsclub.co.za/home.php?vURL=mod_hms/hs_member_register_nh&intSide=off&vURL_Name=Member Registration KPC- R600- kyalamipark/?page_id=10 etc. 2)Once you have registered with the Club(SHEC/KPC) and have your number- grab your horses passport. Now go to SAEF: saef.org.za/EN/Content/Pages/Home >click SAEF REGISTRATIONS >Click database.saef.org.za If there were registered on SAShowjumping in this past year then you use those detail to SIGN IN. (Contact SAShojumping if you cant remember) If they were not registered then SIGN UP. Once Signed in click on the drop down menu over your name in the top black bar, click > RENEW MEMBERSHIP SAEF YEAR ENDING 2014 >select- Gauteng Equestrian > Johannesburg Metro > Rider membership > Select your disciplines and click on which one is the primary discipline - This will charge you the discipline fees and to sign up with SAEF in one step. If your horse is on your profile already click them to add them to the payment (make sure you update AHS and FLu vacs!!!!!) To add your horses- If they were signed up with a different owner on the System then a change of ownership form will need to be filled in and taken to SAEF with the passport. Form is under SAEF registration. If it is a previously unregistered horse add the horse using all the passport details You need a credit card to pay- we did it safely and quickly and then you are just about done. Lastly email your ID to SAEF and scan your horses passport and add it to the horses profile on SAEF.
