Today Tyler, Kyra, Kyras friend Abby and I participated in an annual tradition of my UNICO group. We had the good fortune of bringing close to 100 children Christmas Shopping. The children on todays trip come from families that need a little help this year and for others what is purchased today maybe the only gifts their families receive for Christmas. Through the fundraising efforts of the members of our Greater Philadelphia Chapter of UNICO, a group I am proud to be affiliated with, $12,500.00 was spent on these families today. At our meeting this past Tuesday we also gave out a little over $7500.00 in helping hand donations to 7 families who need a little extra help just in time for the Holidays!
