Today Union members in cairns received an email from there local ALP candidate begging them for money to help fund his campaign against Gavin King. He expects the people of Cairns to vote for a man who cannot even successfully run a campaign budget. To him I say if you cannot financially to run a campaign without begging then you should not be in the race. The second question is when is he going to resign from council? Dear XXXXX, The election has now been called and it is time for us to stand up and provide Cairns the representation it deserves.
