Today Zoey Miles Preston and I leave Arizona to get back to the Northwest! We had a great time visiting with my brother, Matt Stephens, Kit and Kim, my mother, Ysobell Stephens and our friend Johnny Russell. On Thursday Kit took Mom to the doctor because she was having trouble catching her breath. They checked her into the hospital. It turns out one of her heart valves is weakening, a common occurrence in 90 year-olds. She has decided to do a less invasive procedure than heart surgery to repair the valve. She gets out of the hospital today but will have to go back in for the procedure. This will be a 3-4 day hospital stay. She remains in good spirits and will be feeling more herself after the procedure!
