Today a Brahman was cremated it was his last wish as well... or so - TopicsExpress

Today a Brahman was cremated it was his last wish as well... or so it seems... The man who has grandiloquently projected himself to be a rationalist ends up succumbing to his Brahmanic ritual fetishes! I have a problem here. In order to subvert the Bramanic ritual and principles, he composed a book and at the end of the day he embraces the very rituals that he questioned and that he rebelled against as though a desperate lover clinging onto his beloveds bosoms.. So I really doubt the so called rationalized intentions of the deceased... Looking at these conventional last ritualistic ceremonies(which was stomach wrenching) I believe it was a mere pretense even the agenda behind the book(which I have not read nor am I keen to do so) seems to have been highly religious which I assume sustain the very Brahmanic rituals that it claims to subvert. A mask of rationality A mask of a rebel... I hear the son was wearing the scared thread... I hear the recitation of Vedas was reaching the sky... I saw the holy fire ... I saw Brahmins... I saw religion.. I saw hipocracy... I saw Charade.... God.... I mean ... its so funny.... I believe one has to posses the courage to lead the life as according to the demands of his heart... No matter right or wrong,... Sheer Pretension forces a person to endure the suffering of a painful death... I would have expressed these ideas in my own native language in a line, excluding polished connotations! ALLA SWAMI, Heg beko hag baduki NAAATKA YAAKRI ADTHEERA DINA SUMNE...!
