Today, a Jewish man got stabbed outside the Chabad Headquarters in Crown Heights (Brooklyn, NY) by a knife wielding man shown in this video, who then entered the home to wreak further havoc. The video shows the police attempting to disarm him and it doesnt end well for the suspect. If you are unfamiliar with the Chabad organization, they spread light across the globe through humanitarian aid, religious, cultural, and educational activities at community centers, synagogues, schools, camps, soup kitchens, etc. Young Hasidic Jewish couples are often sent to far corners of the world to create a home for Jews to learn, have a hot meal, and especially to have a home away from home. I personally have immense respect for Chabad and Ive been welcomed in their homes and centers across the world without judgement or question. I stand with Chabad and wish the stabbing victim a speedy recovery.
