Today a client brought tears to my eyes (never happened before) Ann joined us as part of her recovery after suffering a major stroke on the operating table during surgery. She had collapsed when her stomach ulcers burst. Its been a long road to recovery, 3 yrs now, but along the way Ann has developed a hernia along her scar that has grown to become extremely large and very painful, the surgeon told her to have it removed she has to lose weight. This has been a battle that has not been easy but today Ann reached her 2 stone weight loss mark. I am so proud of her I could burst. She isnt on face book so wont see this but I had to share her story with you as it is so inspirational. Fingers crossed for Ann now that when she goes to see the consultant in June they will remove the hernia known as Ernie.
