Today, a long climb high above Edinburgh... Stunning.. I have not seen birds for days.. They were probably there, I just could not see them.. Today I saw several. Climbing down the crags, a twitter, unfamiliar.. But a bird.. Needed tears fell, and I stopped to drink it all in in a way I havent been able to for a few days.. It doesnt matter if I know the name of that bird, but instead that I am home and loved whenever I am.. And that we can as humans hold each one we hold dear, we can let the songs in, we can take those breaths- so we can stitch our broken hearts back together.. I thought of this poem too..
