Today, after helping one parent, a mother stood outside my office. I recognised her as one of the mother I sent to Kilakika Secondary to secure a space for her daughter to do grade 11. On the note I gave her to give to the principal , he wrote selections closed three week ago, no space. As I read the note, she started crying. I was deeply moved..i was speechless n dont know what to do. I told her that I will refer the matter to the next person above ..She sat outside while I dud the letter .Sametime I had to attend a very important meeting on structure of standards n guidance. Members were waiting fir me. After I finished the letter, gave it to her ..telling, you take this letter to this lady ..sge should help you. If it does not workout.e back here n I will refer you to the Secretary for Education..she smiled n walked away. What really happened to the daughter? I want all the students attending Marianville Girls Catholic Secondary in NCD..take note of this. This girl was doing grade 11 last year at Marianville. But because she accumulated more than 30 days through lateness n absences, she wad deregistered. She was asked to leave the school n repeat grade 11 jn 2014. Eversince January this, mother has been going back n forth trying to secure a grade 11 space fir her daughter. Who knows ..may be her name was mentioned during the Trsnsfer n Selection committees meeting but principal may be were not interested in expelled student .. This message goes to all students ..not only Marianville . Please make sure dont get late ir miss classes..your education is very important n protect it at all costs ..
