Today afternoon I was asked to pay Rs10/- for parking car at QRS Shopping Mall Statue Trivandrum by the private securities deployed aside of the entrance into the parking space. When I asked the security, at the point near the barricade put up, should I pay for parking, his reply was enlightening Rs 10 only and pointed his finger to one board Pay & Park. And said if you wish not you can exit through that way, pointing to the exit which connects to the rear gate of QRS. A few days back (week) Trivandrum Corporation and Officials made it clear that its mandatory for buildings / business entities having parking facility not to charge / demand money for parking for their customers. Seems like Govt / Officials words doesnt have any mere value by these business entities. Is that the Leaders and Govt officials so powerless ?? Does QRS have the right to disobey the rules and regulations of the Mayor / District officials ?? Or its it not applicable for them ? Did anyone else endorsed with the same parking coupon (No other words to use other than endorse :D) Dont we have a good bold Politicians & Officials around to stand up against these kinds of illegal charging ??
