Today (and always) I remember my sister, Beth, on the 3rd - TopicsExpress

Today (and always) I remember my sister, Beth, on the 3rd anniversary of her passing. She was a young mother, 40 years old, with a 4 year old little boy, Alex. She wasnt sick & she felt fine. Little did she or any of us know she had two tumors that grew over her lungs & heart (a basic x-ray wouldve detected these). The day she died a piece of the tumor grew large enough & burst the small vessels of her heart. She was getting ready for work, had her makeup on, her nails were polished & was drying her hair...something we all take for granted thinking we will be here forever. Little Alex found his Mom laying on the bathroom floor with her hairbrush by her hand, and thought his mommy had a boo boo. She was gone around 12:30-1:30pm (Baton Rouge, LA time). A mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, cousin - gone at 40. The shock has not worn off & we miss her terribly. We know Bethie, as she was so lovingly called, had a strong faith & was baptized in Lake Erie in high school. We know we will see her again...she is up in heaven talking away (she loved to talk, meet people & have fun) and watching down over Alex & all of us. Today Bethie we will remember all the good times, the memories and celebrate you the way you should be celebrated. We love you!!
