Today and always I will remember, this should be a national holiday in my opinion. I am so blessed to know a very special man, who deeply touches my heart, one of the few veterans left. For him to actually be able to tell me his experiences of the war (which is hard for most veterans) landing on the beach of Normandy off of a ship, on the front line and survived! To trudging in the freezing cold through England where he explained it was so cold, even the sheep were dying in front of us to not being able to feel their feet because of the cold, shivering from the wet and dampness! I love you Ted OHalloran!! (I sent you a message through your grandson to give you a hug and a kiss from me and my love! .... think of you always .. Thanks for loving me and sharing!!!) I also want to thank my Gramps, R.I.P, I loved and still love you so much for sharing parts of your experiences, which was hard for you, I was blessed!!! Too all veterans alive and in heaven and to those who serving now, THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I wear a poppy in pride, respect, loyalty and love!!!
